Nothing you do here is sent anywhere. There is no account, no sign in, no analytics, and no advertising.
What is stored
Your school, who you are travelling with, your trip dates, the stages you have marked done, the tawaf and sa'y counts, the ziyarah stops you have ticked, your meeting gate, and the name you type on the record card. All of it is held in this browser on this phone, under the key umrahbuddy.v1.
None of it is transmitted. It is readable only by this app on this device. Clear progress in Settings erases it, and so does uninstalling.
What the phone connects to
Two things, and no others.
The app itself, and a file of rulings and answers that is checked for corrections. The request carries nothing about you.
The typefaces, fetched once on first use and then kept on the phone. Like any web request this carries your IP address to Google, who state that they log it. Nothing else about you is sent, and no cookie is set.

The record card
The card is drawn on the phone. The name on it never leaves the device unless you save the image and share it yourself.
Children
This is written for adults performing Umrah and for parents travelling with children. It is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone.
